A Local Column for Normal Heights, by Marianne Greene

The Neighborhood Lawyer. This column is an opportunity to ask a lawyer about neighborhood stuff. You may write in and ask what you can do about those noisy neighbors, that tree that is hanging over into your yard, the garage that is being used as an apartment, the car in the front yard next door, the common fence that desperately needs repairs, and other neighborhood quality of life concerns. Please send your question and the Neighbhorhood Lawyer may just pick yours to write about!

Marianne Greene, Esq. has been practicing law in San Diego since 1991, and specializes in environmental, land-use and zoning, and regulatory matters. She graduated from USD School of Law, and earned her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University. She has taught federal environmental law and has twice been the recipient of the Sierra Club, San Diego Chapter's Environmental Law Award. She moved to San Diego in 1984 from the East Coast and bought a home in Normal Heights two years ago.
