Marco Anguiano had been working for the
past four years as the Executive Director
of the Adams Avenue Business Association
and producer of the Adams Avenue Street
Fair. Prior to holding this position in our
community, Marco worked for six years as
Assistant to Scott Kessler. More recently,
in addition to his work in the Business
Association, Marco had been one of the
primary organizers of the yearly Chicano
Park Celebrations.
Marco Anguiano, born in 1952, passed
away on August 24. He had been diagnosed
with cancer. He will be missed by many of us
in the mid-city community.
