The Adams Avenue Business Association (AABA) was established in 1982 and incorporated in 1985 as a private non-profit organization to pursue the above mission and to assist the business owners along Adams Avenue. The governing body is the Board of Directors elected annually from the general membership. The members are those businesses located along Adams Avenue from Hamilton Street on the west to Interstate 15 on the east. Membership is contingent upon paying the required City of San Diego's Business License Tax and the Business Improvement District's fee both of which are simultaneously collected each year by the City of San Diego.
